Anna is an experienced pilates instructor. Her classes are challenging but accessible. She has an eye for detail but ensures the class flows and is fun. Anna has a keen interest in the benefits exercise has for women in menopause and those actively ageing. Her classes have evolved over the years to incorporate weights and more resistance training to ensure her clients, both young and the young at heart, truly see results. Her Pilates Sculpt classes reflect this and are a unique blend of classical Pilates and functional strength training. The pilates principles of breath, concentration, control, centre, precision and flow are built into every class.
She trained and qualified in Mat Pilates with Balanced Body and Reformer Pilates with Polestar (the largest Pilates organisations in the world).
“I love Pilates and the way it makes me feel. I love teaching and helping people even more. I have a genuine enthusiasm for sharing the benefits of Pilates and exercise with my clients and seeing them progress. “
I was introduced to Pilates in my 30’s by a physiotherapist after having a knee and hip injury. After experiencing the benefits first hand not just to the injury, but also for posture, strength and alignment I was hooked and went on to train. I truly believe it is an intelligent way to exercise which can benefit everyone. Combining pilates with weights has been a game changer. I can honestly say that I have never felt as strong and confident as I do now as woman approaching 50.”
